Forex-Focused Prop Firm with Long-Term Scaling
Prop trading, short for proprietary trading, is when a firm lets you trade with its money instead of your own. You pay a small fee to take a challenge. Pass it, and you get access to a funded account, keeping a large share of any profits you make.
You are not investing your own savings, and you are not an employee either. You’re more like an independent contractor paid for your trading skill, not your capital.
Most challenges run on simulated accounts that mirror real market conditions so your results are real, but your trades don’t touch the live market until you’re funded.
Prop firms earn revenue mainly from challenge fees, and use that money to fund the traders who pass. The best firms reinvest this income into better platforms, faster payouts, and real support because keeping traders funded and happy is what grows their business.
A firm that pays on time and plays fair earns trust and keeps growing. A firm that delays payouts or changes the rules doesn’t last long. Every firm featured on this page has already passed that test.
Most prop firms test you using one of three challenge types.
Drawdown is the maximum your prop challenge account can lose before it’s automatically closed. One of the most important rules to check before you pick a prop firm and a challenge. Most challenges use two limits at the same time.
A profit split is the share of the profits you keep on the funded account. The rest goes to the firm.
Most firms offer an 80% profit split. For example, if you make $10,000 in profit, you keep $8,000 and the firm keeps $2,000.
Many firms also offer upgraded profit splits, sometimes as high as 100%. On that same $10,000 in profit, a 100% split means you keep $10,000 instead of $8,000.
Once your account is funded and you make a profit, getting paid is simple. Most firms follow the same basic steps.
Passing a challenge comes down to discipline, not luck. Here’s what works.
We evaluated over 100 prop firms before building this list. Each one is scored on the things that matter most to prop traders.
Only the firms that meet our standards make it onto this page.
Yes. Every prop firm ranked above is a real, established business with verified payouts and an active trader community. We check each firm's track record, payout history, and rules before it earns a place on the list above. If it's listed here, it passed.
We compare firms based on: (1) verified payout history and speed, (2) fairness and clarity of trading rules, (3) challenge cost and value, (4) profit split, and (5) real trader reviews. Compensation may impact placement; details in our advertiser disclosure.
Most prop firms pay within 24 to 48 hours once your payout is approved. Your first payout can take a little longer while the firm verifies your account, and after that it's usually quick. Many firms pay by bank transfer, card, or crypto, so you can pick whatever's fastest for you.
If your account hits the drawdown limit, the challenge closes automatically. That means you've reached the maximum loss allowed by the rules. It's not the end though, you can start a new challenge, and most firms offer a discount on your next one. Failing only costs you the entry fee, never your own money beyond that.
Most firms give you all the time you need, so you can trade at your own pace. No countdown, no pressure, just trade when the setups are right and hit your target when you're ready.
Yes. Most firms refund your entry fee once you get funded and take your first payout. So the moment you start earning, that upfront cost comes right back to you, and getting funded ends up costing you nothing.
No formal experience is required to start. What matters is that you can hit the profit target while staying within the rules. If you can trade a demo account well, you're ready to take on a challenge.
Yes. Most firms let you trade the way you already do, whether that's day trading, swing trading, or scalping. A few have their own rules around things like news trading or automated bots, so it's worth a quick look before you start.
In most cases, yes. Since you trade as an independent contractor rather than an employee, your payouts count as income, and you handle the taxes yourself based on where you live. Rules vary by country, so it's worth checking what applies to you locally.
Yes. Most firms let you run several funded accounts at once, and many traders do exactly that to grow their earning potential. Some even let you combine accounts or copy trades across them to make managing multiple accounts easier.
